Surrey Storytellers Guild presents Waxing Lyrical - Storytelling Practice and Coaching Groups for Adults.

Are you:

  • interested in storytelling but never tried it before?
  • a storyteller looking to get feedback on and improve your work?

Why not join us at our small, informal practice sessions. Meetings take place once a month and participants benefit from advice and coaching from an experienced storyteller plus feedback and encouragement from other members of the group.

There is a nominal fee of £6.00 (£4.00 concessions) to cover costs.

This spring we are continuing to run Waxing Lyrical storytelling practice and coaching groups in Ewell, near Epsom and Farnham Maltings.

In Surrey, we are developing a Storytellers’ Progress Pathway to support and develop people as storytellers. This article outlines what we are doing. It’s been incremental, may not be the best way and we emphasis that what we do is a tool not a rule. We want to improve and develop and would be interested to hear what others are doing.

To view/read this article on Storytellers Progress Pathway you will need a  Portable Document Format (PDF) reader installed on your computer; if you do not already have this installed it can be downloaded free from Adobe.
